How to Integrate Notion

How to Connect Notion to MyNextBrowser

Connecting your Notion workspace to MyNextBrowser allows you to use your existing notes and databases as a contextual knowledge source for our AI-assisted workflows. This integration is secure, permission-scoped, and you control exactly what content is accessible.

Before You Begin

  • Ensure MyNextBrowser is active.
  • You must have a Notion account and be logged in.
  • You need access to the Notion workspace you wish to connect.

Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting Notion

  1. Open MyNextBrowser: Launch the MyNextBrowser side panel.
  2. Go to Settings: Navigate to the settings menu.
  3. Select "Connectors": Click on the “Integrations” tab.
  4. Connect Notion: Find and select the “Connect Notion” option. An authorization window from Notion will open.
  5. Authorize Access: Log into your Notion account if prompted.
  6. Choose Workspace and Pages: Select the workspace you want to connect. Then, carefully choose the specific pages and databases you want to grant access to. The system will only be able to see the content you explicitly approve.
  7. Allow Access: Click “Allow Access” to confirm and complete the integration.

What to Expect After Connecting

  • Your Notion workspace will appear in the "Integrations" dashboard with a "Connected" status.
  • The pages and databases you authorized will now be available as a context source for features like Deep Research and Prompt Enhancer.

Important Limitations

  • Scoped Access: MyNextBrowser will never have access to your entire Notion workspace by default. Access is strictly limited to the pages and databases you personally select.
  • Revocable: You can disconnect your Notion workspace at any time, which immediately revokes all access.

Troubleshooting

  • Problem: My Notion pages are not showing up as a knowledge source.
  • Solution: This usually happens if the pages were not selected during the initial setup. You will need to reconnect the integration and ensure you grant permission to the correct pages and databases. Go to `Settings > Integrations`, disconnect Notion, and then reconnect it, making sure to select the pages you need.
